High Pressure Sterilizer Using Wet-heat Sterilization Method and Its Sterilization Process
The high-pressure sterilizer uses the method of wet-heat sterilization. At the same temperature, the effect of wet-heat is better than that of dry-heat. There are the following reasons.
1、The temperature required for protein coagulation is related to its water content. The higher the water content, the lower the temperature required for protein coagulation. Bacterial proteins can absorb water when sterilized in hot and humid conditions, which makes it easier to solidify than in hot and dry air at the same temperature.
2. A large amount of latent heat is emitted by steam in the process of wet-hot sterilization, which further increases the temperature. At the same temperature, the time required for sterilization by wet heat is shorter than that by dry heat.
3. The penetration of hot and humid gases is stronger than that of dry and hot gases, so the efficiency of hot and humid gases is better than that of dry gases. High-pressure steam can kill all microorganisms, including spores, spores and other heat-resistant individuals. Sterilization steam temperature increases with the increase of steam pressure. Sterilization time can be greatly shortened by increasing steam pressure. Therefore, it is an effective and widely used sterilization method for high-pressure sterilizers.
